How long does it take to BBQ a brisket?

Sear the brisket on medium heat for 20 minutes on each side, then cook for around 1 hour (per lb) on low heat. Grill until the meat is tender, cover with foil and rest for around 10 minutes.

How long does it take to smoke a brisket?
