Australian Steak Marinade

Australian Steak Marinade

Ingredients:

  • 1.5Kg Australian Grass Fed Beef Sirloin
  • 1/4 cup Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce
  • Additional 1 teaspoon Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice or lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup instant minced onion
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon instant minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
 

Directions:

  1. Combine 1/4 cup of Lea and Perrins Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, oil, minced onion, salt and minced garlic. Mix well and set aside.
  2. Place steak in a tight fitting bowl
  3. Pour Lea and Perrins Worcestershire sauce over the steak.
  4. Marinate for 2 hours
  5. Remove steak from the marinade
  6. Grill over hot charcoal or broil under preheated hot broiler for 7-10 mins on each side or until browned as desired, brushing with marinade occasionally.
  7. In small frying pan, stir in parsley and remaining 1 teaspoon Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce.
  8. Move steak to a serving plate, pour over remaining marinade. Slice and serve.
