  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Add the 2 cups of flour, salt and grated cheese and mix lightly.
  3. Measure out one cup of milk. Crack the egg and add it to the milk with the vegetable oil. Beat to mix the ingredients, adding the other mixture (flour salt and cheese) while mixing.
  4. Depending on the consistency of dough add more milk or flour. The dough should be soft enough to be rolled out.
  5. Break the dough into two pieces. Roll one piece on a lightly floured surface, and shape the dough into a rough rectangle.
  6. Cut the dough into 1 ¾ inch strips. Then cut each strip at approximately 2 ½ inch intervals, making oblong shapes.
  7. Put a cocktail sausage in each oblong at a slight angel and roll in dough, squeezing the dough tightly shut around the sausage.
  8. Once rolled, place all on non-stick backing tray or one lined with parchment paper.
  9. Coat rolled dough sausages with the egg mixture using a pastry brush, for a golden glaze.
  10. Cook in oven for 12-15 minutes, making sure they’re puffy and burnished and allow to cool before serving.
