Fillet steak with red wine balsamic reduction

Quick and simple recipie for a lovely meal for two

Prep: 5 minutes

Cook: 15 minutes


  1. Sprinkle salt and pepper over both sides of each steak. (You can buy fillet steak online here)
  2. Heat a frying pan over a medium to high heat. Place steaks in the hot pan, and cook for 1 minute on each side, or until browned.
  3. Reduce heat to medium low, and add the balsamic vinegar and red wine. Cover, and cook for 4 minutes on each side, basting with sauce when you turn the meat over.
  4. Remove the steaks to two warmed plates, spoon one tablespoon of glaze over each, and serve immediately.
  5. Serve with any sides of your choice
  6. ENJOY!
